§ 1 Scope of application
These GTC govern the conditions for participation in our online courses and masterclasses. They apply to consumers and entrepreneurs.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who or which, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in exercise of his or its trade, business or profession.
Deviating GTC shall only apply if we recognize them in writing.

 

§ 2 Subject matter of the contract and services
The object is participation in online courses, master classes or comparable educational offers that can be offered and booked via our website.

 

§ 3 Data protection
We collect, store and process personal data exclusively in accordance with the statutory provisions. You can find details in our privacy policy at https://deep-in.ai/datenschutz

 

§ 4 Registration and conclusion of contract
The presentation of the courses on our website does not constitute a binding offer. Only by sending the order does the customer submit a binding offer.
Bookings are made online using our form. Steps:

  1. Entering personal data

  2. Selection of the course

  3. Checking the information

  4. Consent to general terms and conditions and revocation policy

  5. Binding booking by clicking on "Order with costs"
    The contract is concluded as soon as we confirm the order by e-mail or send the invoice.
    The contract text is not stored permanently.

 

§ 5 Prices and terms of payment
All prices are final prices. Due to the legal regulation on VAT exemption for educational services (§ 4 No. 21 UStG), the prices do not include VAT.
Payment is made via the payment methods offered in the order process.

 

§ 6 Withdrawal and rebooking
Cancellation is possible at any time before the start of the course. The following flat rates apply:

  • up to 7 days before the start of the course: 20 percent of the price

  • up to 3 days before the start of the course: 50 percent of the price

  • from 1 day before the start of the course or in case of no-show: 100 percent of the price
    A free rebooking to another date is possible once at the latest 96 hours before the start of the course.
    We reserve the right to postpone appointments for important reasons (e.g. illness, force majeure). In this case, an alternative date will be offered or the price refunded.

 

§ 7 Contract duration and termination
The duration of the contract depends on the course booked.
Ordinary termination during the term is excluded. The right to extraordinary termination remains unaffected.

 

§ 8 Limitation of liability
We shall be liable without limitation in cases of intent, gross negligence and damage to life, limb and health.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, our liability shall be limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.
Liability is otherwise excluded.
We are not liable for technical failures or interruptions of the Internet connection on the customer side.

 

§ 9 Consumer dispute resolution
The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

 

§ 10 Place of jurisdiction and Final provisions
The contract language is German.
German law shall apply. For entrepreneurs, the place of fulfillment and jurisdiction is Bonn.
Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain valid.

Cancellation policy

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The period begins with the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, a clear declaration by post or e-mail to:

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the notification in good time.

Consequences of revocation:
We will refund all payments within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal. The refund will be made using the same means of payment.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal expires if the service (e.g. course access, digital content) begins with the express consent of the customer before the end of the withdrawal period and the customer has confirmed that he thereby loses his right of withdrawal.

Sample withdrawal form:

  • Ordered on ... / received on ...

  • Name of the consumer(s)

  • Address of the consumer(s)

  • Signature (only for notification on paper)

  • Date
